Daily Assignment Bugged?

Todays daily assignment is to defeat Sanzoku Outlaw in Tatakai Outpost, Mooshu. I do not get credit for the daily assignment or spiral showcase. I've seen this has been a bug in the past. Anyone else encountering it?
