Opening Screen Bug?

Has anyone else had problems with the opening screen randomly changing which wizard is up, rather then leaving up the last one you played?

I have not been able to log on since yesterday. At all and now the opening screen is just a log in and nothing and never "Connects to server" is it just me it can on rather suddenly.
