When I am in battle my secondary school is death so once in a while I use vampire or wraith. Once while I was trying to finish up my side tasks in marleybone I used a strong on a vampire and it said 417 and swap half to self. I'm pretty sure 350+100=450. Why does it say 417?

Drain spells can only be enchanted for a portion of the damage as they have the added benefit of returning health as well.

This is as intended.

all death cards that give half to health takes 2/3 ofthe enchantment so a 100 will do about 67 to the 350 so that is 417

Thanks. But why would it take 2/3? Wouldn't it take away 1/2?

The easiest way to show you the proper math on this situation, is by using gargantuan.

Gargantuan is 225 added damage.

So, if you take 2/3 of that, which is 150 from 225, leaving 75 damage remaining. So if you deal 150 damage, and get back 1/2 health, you will get back 75 health.

150 damage + 75 health = 225 Gargantuan enchantment.

Hope that helps explain things to you.
