True Friend Chat

I was talking to my friend with the text chat you can talk to your true friends with ( I don't have text chat ) and all of a sudden after a duel, I could only use menu chat to her, but she was doing text chat to me!
Please help so this doesn't happen again!

I have no idea why but I do agree that it does need to be fixed because the same thing happens to my younger brother when I chat with him.

The question is are we suppose to have true friend chat?
Can Lidia Grayrose or someone else please explain this and get it fixed?
